Mary Margaret (Faught) Miller, 57, of Riverview, Florida, formerly of Oblong, Illinois passed away Friday, January 10, 2014 at the South Bay Hospital, Sun City Center, Florida.

Mary was born on January 5, 1957 to Ralph and Rosalie (Clement) Faught.  She was a 1975 graduate of Oblong High School; she was the treasurer of the homeowners association where she lived; and was employed for several years at Great Impressions in Winterhaven, Florida.

Survivors include her son, Mark Leshley of Lakeland, Florida; a sister and brother-in-law, Bonnie Jo and John Ferrer of Portsmouth, VA; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Bill and Tina Faught, Annapolis, IL.; and Jim Faught of Vernon, IL; 5 nephews and one niece; 5 great-nieces and 3 great nephews; several cousins; two aunts, Bonnie Faught and Margie Yates; her ex-husband, Rob Miller and fiance’, Paul Koota, ESQ.

Mary was an extraordinary person, if you didn’t love her, it was because you hadn’t met her yet.  She was a shining star and her light will continue to shine in the hearts of those who love her.  She is not gone, she has only relocated from earth to Heaven, where she awaits our reunion with her one day.

Preceding her in death were her parents; paternal grandparents, Clone and Launa Faught; maternal grandparents, Joe and Margaret Clement; her 3 children, Elizabeth Leshley, Daniel Miller and Amanda Miller; her ex-husband, Greg Leshley, cousins, aunts and uncles.

To observe her wishes, Mary will be cremated in Florida and her ashes will be brought home to Oblong, Illinois, by her son, for a memorial service.
